Satyajit Ray (2nd May 1921 - Forever)

"Not to have seen the cinema of Ray means existing in the world without seeing the sun or the moon." - Akira Kurosawa

Happy Birthday, Ray Babu!

P.S. It's heartening to see Google honor the master with this day's doodle, with an unforgettable moment from one of the best films the world has seen.

  2. Dunno about how unforgettable was the moment, but seeing it on Google, the innocence in the sketch, the theme music started playing in my mind and it was a hair raising moment for me.. :)
Damn I want to watch it today again and discover why the movie is what it is.
