TSPDT's latest list of the 1000 most-acclaimed films of this century is out. Based on that, I have selected filmmakers with the most impressive filmographies since 2000. Their ranking considers two aspects - how many of their films feature in Top 1000, and what is the respective rank of each of these films on that list.

68-year old American filmmaker
Has directed ten films since 2000, seven of which feature in Top 1000: AI Artifical Intelligence (2001) is highest rated at #24. The other six movies are: Minority Report, Catch Me If You Can, Munich, War of the Worlds, War Horse, and Lincoln.
Trivia: Spielberg is currently working on the Tom Hanks starrer 'Bridge of Spies', the final draft of which has been written by the Coen Brothers - the directing duo who are also there on this list of top ten modern masters.
